The German Krystalle Collection is a study in abstract form. Our initial inspiration comes from a German encyclopedia, Meyers Konversation Lexicon, in an entry showing various man-made crystal shapes. The images have been silkscreened onto a wood panel that was silverleafed by hand. The black line of the crystal creates a beautiful minimalist shape on the field of silver.
